My sugar gliders (Mars and Jupiter) are a male and female breeding pair that I bought four days ago from a breeder in queens, their fur seems to be cracked and brown. He said that they are standards but they look very brown/yellow

Getting them on a good diet will help with the staining you are seeing. Plus adding some humidity to your home will help with the cracked fur.

We all see cracked fur at this time of the year, heating our homes takes the moisture out of the air and causes their fur to crack.
