I have been including a small amount of Manuka honey in my 'PML' since learning of it's healing properties several years ago. For those interested there is quite a bit of scientific research about Manuka & it's healing properties.

Manuka honey has been used for many many years in OZ, these are two of the newer Manuka Wound Healing products & are Antibacterial.

Medihoney - Antibacterial Medical Honey

I always have a jar of Manuka honey as part of my wildlife rescue medical kit . Great for healing but you need to make sure it is applied so the gliders cannot reach it (under dressings etc) ...they love the taste of it and it can cause further issues if they start licking and grooming wounds.

I am not sure if the second product listed is actually Manuka Honey though so whilst it will be antibacterial it may not have the extended healing properties that the Manuka honey is known for.

Believe Manuka was approved for USA wound care here in the USA in 2007 - but we knew it all along -
(Back in 1999 I had pure seed shipped into US thru USDA APHIS - back then needed import export permits)
