Nope ~ no plants ~ cat won't stay out of them! tant

I'll be in town tomorrow and can get to Wal-Mart then. We just don't drive if we dont' have to wink

I may just start feeding a fruit smoothie during the summer months. agree

Please make sure that your gliders can not get near the fly paper. It is super sticky and if a glider gets stuck on it, the glider will chew at it to get it off. This can lead to a VERY ill glider.

You can usually get the fly paper rolls at Dollar General (atleast that's where I get them). They are small tube shaped things that come 4 to a package. You just pull on a tab and it unrolls it and then you hang it by the tab. (thumb tacks work well)

Went to town today and forgot to go to Wal-Mart ~ figured they'd be cheaper there. Anyway all we have out in my little town is Dollar General. IF I can remember when I go get Lauren in the morning I will get them then. Tomorrow's a big day though, so we'll see what all I remember roflmao

Just wanted to update on the apple cider vinegar, AJ, dishsoap mix. Today all day while the litte buggers had no fruit in the cages to get at, about 1/4 of them drown in the mixture jump

I'll just continue with the mixture night & day, and try to remember to get fly papers. I'll hang it from the ceiling where the gliders never go. They're all very shoulder tame and rarely even jump to the counter tops or sometimes my bed.

Still looking for something they hate that would just drive them away. Tried basil plants in the kitchen/dining room to bug the big flies off ~ but I killed the plants. roflmao They worked pretty well when they were alive. Just don't get any DIRECT sun in here and I'm used to watering plants that live outside in 100 degree Texas weather ~ guess the indoor basil plants just weren't that thursty roflmao

Thank you guys all for all your help and tips!

Hmmmm... wouldn't it be nice if my gliders would learn how to open a container, get a piece of fruit, and close the container so the flies wouldn't swarm it shakehead
