hello, im not shure if this in the the right spot but my 2 maybe 3 year old girl is making a very different noise, its a hissbark hissbark. my other girl makes hissing noises when she is having problems going to the bathroom and alittle pumpkin clears her up but this noise is different, i had her out and she was climbing on me when she didnt but wasnt doing anything else different, she has started marking me alittle more than normal but thats about it, anyone hear this before?

i watched her potty and she isnt having a problem, being in heat sounds like her right now, she lives with her daughter, he daughter always marks me by peeing on my hand, every time shes on me, the mom has never done that until recently, as in the last 3 days, she is also groming my hand and rubbing hte underneath of ther chin on my hand and clothing. and shes making the hiss bark hiss bark, not all at the same time but all within the last coupld days.

I agree with the heat. I notice Jack does this when he hears Zimora. i attribute it to being sort of a mating call? Im new though but thats my perception.

i think she may be mating call for me lol considering now if i take her out she stops lol

mine do it all the time, i never payed it any mind though, i always figured it was one of their mating noises or one of there hey i'm cute come play with me noises lol,

i was worried becuase mine are not very vocal normaly but she seems perfectly fine. thanks everyone

Mine was making the hissing barking noise when she was going potty. Turned out to be Giardia. You may want to have her checked out. With mine, I had a fecal test done and it found nothing....so I had a second one done, IT MUST BE FRESH! Not long after that her scent gland got blocked and I had to have to drained twice. A strange looking blister type thing was making her booty swollen. She was on meds for weeks. It cost me a LOT of money.
Finally! she got health and it took me days to clean everything so the Giardia didnt come back. Since she had it, her sister did too.


Just a thought, this could be more serious! I sure didnt think mine was, and yes I did pumpkin too, it also seemed to help but it only masked the real problem.
