My two gliders are about a year and a half old and i've had them for about four months. I think that the female might have a joey or two in her pouch but I can't be sure. It looks like there's a lump in there and the fur around it looks darker and I can see the pouch opening better than before. But how do I know if it's a joey and not just a fold in her skin or part of her fat? I think they've been together for a while, the previous owner didn't really know much about them, so I'm not sure why it would take them so long to breed. Anyway, if it is a joey when should I start seeing it come out of the pouch? Thanks so much for any help you can give me!

From conception to the crawl IP is 16 days, from IP to OOP is another 70 days, from OOP to weaned is8 weeks. The only advise I can give is to post a picture. If you wait the lump will get bigger.

If the lump is lopsided and is only about the size as a peanut then more then likely it is a joey or if thier are two lumps then it might be twins.Within a month they or it should be the size of a peanut

From a behavior standpoint, she'll spend less time exercising & will slow down her pace when she IS on the wheel. She'll begin growing wider and will "waddle" as she gets closer to out-of-pouch time.

Please do post a picture whenever your digi camera gets up & running.
