I moved my glider room last week and now they share a room with my computer. I've purchased some heavy duty tubing in both a small size for individual cords and 5/8" for bundling. I'm right now attempting to split this tubing so I can insert the wires and let's just say I'm not very coordinated and it may take days at this rate. I've also purchased one of the metal dryer vent pipe things to go over a lot of this once the extra tubing is on. Any suggestions of an easier way that is safe?

They make a spiral plastic cover for cords specifically to keep animals from chewing....Sorry I can't remember where I saw it though. Maybe someone else will know.

Yes that is what I'm doing but thank goodness I didn't have to pay near that much for it. I spent about $3 per each 25 feet for individual cords and about $5 per each 10 feet to wrap several cords at once and about $7 on the dryer vent thing as an extra precaution.

I am in the room with them most of the time when they are out of their cages but do occasionally leave to use the restroom or get a drink or grab their laundry from the dryer, get some licky treat yogurt or something like that. They won't be given major unsupervised time around the cords more like 15 minutes max but I just don't want to take any chances. It's such a mess back there I will probably end up having to unplug and untangle it all so if I disappear for a few days then I'm probably still sitting back there in a stupor trying to figure out what I've done wrong . Any more opinions or suggestions?
