should i take both girls to the vet, or should i leave one home to sleep? i don't want them to miss each other if i only take one.

ok, so we're all back from the doctor. I brought Lily for support. doctor said: the sore is only on the very surface of the skin and similar to a blister on our toe. put neosporin on the sore 2-3 a day ( like suz said) and it should heal in about 5 days. its definitely from the trimmer track. i could have used hydrogen peroxide instead of the neosporin if i didn't have any (wish i knew this yesterday) b/c it evaporates very quickly and does not harm them. But the sore needs to heal on its own b/c gliders hands need to toughen up and grow calluses. so as the sore heals, layers of skin will peal back and it will probably look worse, but it won't puss up or anything.
I am really happy with this doctor. I asked him to weight her too while she was there b/c she's grown lots since we were last there in July. She has Boobs and i was curious. Lotus actually weighs a whole 125 grams!! so i guess she's alright. The best part of the visit was that the doctor did not even charge me for the visit!!! how cool is that!

So thanks again to everyone who posted and helped me through our first booboo. Hopefully this experience can help someone else too!

Is there harm in if Lotus licks the neosporin after i put it on her hand? I try to hold her to make sure she doesn't, but if she actually does start licking it after i put her away? I can't tell if she does or not.

I also left out one part about what the doctor said about hydrogen peroxide. If the glider does lick it off the sore, the peroxide will actually whiten her teeth. just like with humans.
