I have been mixing mine all together with an egg mix and chicken mix and freezing in cube trays. I have just noticed that my females didnt eat much last night and the male and female with joey ate 1 cube. Normally its all gone. Im wondering if I should just mix and freeze the ingrediants minus the friuuts, veggies and protiens. Then add the eggs, chicken, fruits and veggies and freeze that separatly or fresh. How are you doing it. I just need ideas on mixing it up abit without making it boring for them. I dont want to switch to another diet.

Here's what I do. I make the basic mix - freeze it in ice cube trays Boil up the chicken breast, cut it into 1" cubes - freeze in a zip lock baggie. I buy the Birdseye frozen mixed veggies (peas, corn, carrots, and green beans). In the winter I buy the frozen mixed fruit - Summer I buy watermelon, grapes, honeydew, cantelope and pears. In the evening I will thaw out the basic mix, fruits, and veggies. Every other night I rotate chicken or scrambled egg. I do not freeze the eggs...I make those fresh on egg night. Mix the chicken or egg in with the basic mix. Serve 1 tbsp of fruit and veggie on the side with fresh water. I sprinkle the vitamins all over the top of everything. My gliders do not like their fruit or veggies mixed in with the mix.

Mine like it mixed in, but what I do, I put a few pieces of veggies on the top (as the rest is still frozen when I put it in). They eat the mealies, and veggies early (they are fed about 8 pm and they eat right away) and then they eat the rest of it later during the night. I sprinkle the vitamins on top of everything. (I put mine in freezer bags and break pieces off.) I don't do the egg one (mine will not eat it with egg). I usually make two or three batches at once.

Then when my cubes are all gone just freeze the basic mix and add everything later. I wonder how hard it would be to freeze teh chicken in the cubes since I use my food processor to chop it up?

I make 5 batches at a time....3 egg and 2 chicken...then each batch gets different veggies and fruit in it so that provides the variety...then i freeze it in containers large enough to feed 8 gliders for 2 nights...so basically I defrost every other night...this seems to work really well....especially since I try to make it so that the fruits/veggies give each batch a different color, that way I know to defrost a different color to give variety...but everything is all mixed together
