I'm sorry this happened. I haven't ever lost joeys, but I lost a glider I know how much it hurts.

Guess I should have read the rest of the post...*sigh* just got so wrapped up in trying to help...I'm so sorry Leyna...I do honestly think this was an isolated incident...I would let them try again with another pair of joeys, but keep a watchful eye!

Today has been, to say the least, very trying. I want to thank you all for your support. After giving it some thought, I have paired Brodey and Mirame back together. Smegal, who was also with them has been seperated to reduce stress and he's now back with Larkin, who was with Bacardi (the glider that lost his tail). Cardi needs to be housed by himself until his stiches are removed. Once his stiches are out I'll be pairing him with Vanity, my other short tailed glider <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> I am so glad I got my new cages today or I would be having fun trying to figure out my housing situation... Thank you Suz, you are really, just the most wonderful person... I wish you could have seen the little girl in person, she was the most beautiful little thing and so sweet. She just wanted to go back in her mommy's pouch... I hope Mirame has joeys again soon. If they are anywhere near as wonderful as that little girl, I will be a very blessed glider owner.

My heart broke for you when I read this. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> Such a hard thing to have to witness/go through. I really believe there is mostly a reason for everything... those little wee ones just werent ready to be here yet for some reason.
