I have to tell everyone about my glider. Before i decided to get a glider about a year ago i read up on Sugar Gliders for weeks, months, even for a couple years before i decided to get my pair. I drove to Illinois to get them, i had named them Adam and Eve. I got them home and with in a week she had round balls on her stomach, well i knew what that was right away. She has her babies about a month after i had them, and sad she killed them a day later. Well after all the ups and down it got worse she started to get very mean but i didn't know what to do about it. Well in July she had an accident (we think she jumped and missed the ledge and broke her neck)and she died. Well after everything i have ever read it scared me to death how he was gonna react to her being gone. But he bounced back its like he hasn't noticed she is gone. He eats and plays and everything. About a month ago he got the flu we got so scared we didn't think he was gonna make it through the night. At 4am he was up and running around as if nothing was wrong with him. He is funny cuz he goes against anything i have ever read online about Sugar Gliders. I had to tell you are my weird glider he is the best buddy and i would never want to give him up.

Jill--I am glad you feel the way you do about your little boy. That is a shame and you must have been very sad about Eve's passing. Here is something good that you should know. You have replaced Eve's love with your own and that has been enough for Adam. That speaks volumes on you as a person and the love a glider owner is able to give to a glider. I am happy for both you and Adam!

John- Thanks alot that makes me feel really good for someone to think that. I know i am not the best Sugar glider mommy but i sure try to do my best for him.

Anyone else with weird glider stories please share.
