It is a pet store. www.animaljungle.com They have really healthy animals there. When the animals are sick they have a sign out saying not up for adoption. They take their animals to the vet. They have a worker who specializes and studies gliders. With all the other animals they have someone else who specializes and studies those other animals. Everytime I go there the sg have beautiful bright eyes and shiny coats. If I get me another baby I will let everyone know how it goes.

I'm in VA beach, not sure if that is where you are at or not. Just a question though, who is your vet contact? We took our baby we got two weeks ago to the the pet veterinary hospital on um... va beach blvd past witchduck. I can not remember the name. I was not very happy with the knowledge of the vet. He pulled out some papers he had printed up, said he had several peopel come in recently. But he didn't seem very knowledgeable, but we got our glider from pets and things or something like that because animal jungle sold our baby female 20 minutes bfore we got there <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> So we paid 200, however though we got her from a pet store, she is beautiful and bright eyed and active. She was living in a pouch with her mommy at the pet store. They were feeding her dried fruit and i think cat food <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> But we haven't had any problems with diet so far. Let me know if thye have any babies available.. we want a female companion for our Zoe. Also... we know a friend... who had a friend (lol) that is a breeder. And she sells them for 80 dollars. I haven't met the breeder or seen the babies, so i'm not sure if they are healthy babies, we are still waiting on a reply if she has any available. I'll let you know once we find out if she does, and if the breeder looks like she is doing all the "supposed to's".

I don't live in va beach. I'm about 30 mins from there to the west. The vet I go to is called Greakneck Veterinary Clinic. It's a really small place like a house out on Ebb Tide Rd. http://www.greatneckvet.com here's there website. I thought that Animal Jungle was suppose to hold them for people. Well I know that they held onto some bold rats for someone. They feed their gliders fresh cut fruit and Glider Aid. Some of them seem to be hand tamed but I'm really not sure if they are. Dr. Debra Thomas was Joey's doctor. She's very sweet. I'm really not sure if she has any equipment for small animals...that's something that I question. She seems knowledgeable, but the only thing that didn't impress me is when I found out about UA's and all them other test that probably should have been done on my Joey she didn't do or even let us know about it. Maybe you have to ask her to do it or something. 80 dollars is kinda cheap for a glider I think. I think I've heard about pets and things. Maybe I will look it up on the net and see if they have a website. At Animal Jungle they sell like hot cakes. You kinda have to be fast about it when getting one from there. They may only last for about a week til they order out for more sg to come in.

Oh he was very healthy. I've have him about 1 or 2 years. Im' thinking 2. May have been January 4th 2002 when I got him. I didn't know about the test until it was a bit too late and I didn't know that I'd have to request them. I'll remember that next time incase if something happens. I really thought 80 dollars was really cheap too, and i've heard that you shouldn't buy from breeders who sell for too cheap, but i think the price was 80 because we know her friend. Not really sure.
