I'm soooo sorry for your loss. It's so tough to lose one of these little creatures.

I am so very very saddened to read of brave little Rocky's passing. I have been following the story though I rarely post these days as I am also mourning the loss recently of my little one, Shami. Maybe now she will have someone to play with.... Know thath you have done all you could, and her fondest memories were of you or she would never have licked you and wanted you in the end. I wish I had your bravery, I cry with you and I understand your pain during loss. I only pray that time will ease the pain of having her with you only in spirit now..... You will see her at the bridge....just not yet....Know that we are here for you if you need to be carried through any of this.

Thanks again for all of the kind words. Kara, you said something about bravery... I was sobbing (literally) in the vets office. I was pretty bad off. I'm doing a lot better now, and a big part of it is the support I get from this board. It's nice knowing people understand how attached we get to these little guys in such a short period of time. I am so sorry about Rocky. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crying.gif" alt="" /> I try not to go into this forum, that's why I haven't seen your post. At least the little girl knew love from you during the time she was with you. Maybe that's why she was sent to you, so she could experience goodness while still here. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I know Rocky loved you for all that you gave to her in the short time she was with you. Like you said, she's in a better place now playing with all 4 legs and thanking you for everything you've done. God Bless, and I'm so very sorry for your loss.

Oh Meghan, I'm so sorry for this huge hole that's left in your heart. Pain is evidence of the love that you shared for your Rocky...your love is deep and that's why it hurts so bad...poor girl. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crying.gif" alt="" /> Rocky knew she was loved...you were a good mommy to her.

She will play and glide and wait for you at the Rainbow Bridge.
