Hello again! Sorry for another question about cages...never had to deal with a used cage other than the one that came with Fizgig (my male).
My question is, is there anything special I need to use to clean the cage before I put my gliders in it? I was planning on using the same stuff I currently use but the thought I might need to use something else since this was previously used as a bird cage. I'm not sure what the protocol is for cleaning is before Fizgig and Kira use it.
Any thoughts and advice are welcome and thank you in advance!

I don't think so other than using hot water and many people use Dawn dishing detergent or vinegar. Just be sure to rinse very well after.

If you find any areas where there is rust after cleaning, then you will want to reconsider using the cage.
