But allllllll the glider kids and I missed you guys!

I do have a question though, since my hiatus from the community, has it been found that Pied is a breedable trait?

For the most part, yes. It still isn't a trait that is fully understood or passed on a consistent basis. It seems to run strong in a couple of lines. Additionally, the issues are making a clear identification of what is actually a piebald. Some of the mosaics are called Pieds (Piebald), Pied Markers (which is a minimally marked piebald), and Marbled. There isn't a complete general concensus as to what is a pied is when looking at it, there is still confusion with many people. This is the definition that many use:

Some animals also exhibit coloration of the irises of the eye that match the surrounding skin (blue eyes for pink skin, brown for dark). Blue eyes have not been seen in sugar gliders to date. The underlying genetic cause is related to a condition known as leucism.

Thank you for the clarification. Nero and his previous mate produced Liberty, who was is a very loud pied mosaic who now lives at the pet glider. I was just curious if they had been shown to be able to be replicated.

My personal theory was that some of them were like the chimera's in horses, which produced incredible patterns, but were really two different twins merged.
