Oh my goodness, yes. They can't fly commercially in cabin, only cargo and you would not be able to check them in cargo anyway since they are illegal in California. Be very careful here - the laws there are extremely strict and it's very likely your gliders would be confiscated should they find them in your possession.

Gliders are illegal in Pa .I contacted fish and game months back .They do allow exotics with permits but they no longer give them out .So they are illegal to own and have in Pa.

Rach, you scared me!! I've been obsessed with owning suggies for about 2 months now and I'm currently a student enrolled at U of I in Urbana/Champaign. Luckily, I called the Champaign Animal Control and asked about sugar gliders, they are legal within Champaign.
