Our new baby comes home next Saturday! I have heard a lot about rubbing/wearing fleece to put in the cage to help the suggie get used to their slave. With my husband and kids, there are 7 people in the house! Should we all leave a scent object or will that be too confusing? On the other hand, could having only one scent object lead to favoritism among humans?

Hey Anne!

At the very beginning, I would choose a primary in your household...the person that will be dealing with your baby the most. Once they're comfortable in your home and acclimated to their new surroundings, these won't be so important as they will be used to your smell and the ones around the house. thumb

I agree. Someone in your house will likely be more involved with your glider than the others. That is the person that I would have use the scent blankets. If everyone has play time with the glider(s) then they will be well socialized and enjoy being around all people in the house.

If we never loved, then maybe we would never feel pain. Love anyway. It's worth it.
