This info is in Peek's thread, but thought I'd put it down here by itself. This is a toy I thought was safe, the hole in it just a pinhole, hard plastic ball. I didn't think they could get their teeth in it, let alone tear a hole in it. I had no clue that what rattled was TINY ball bearings inside, small enough to be swallowed. While Peek will be okay, it easily could have been fatal. I watched a glider dying from a blockage and perforation. It was the most horrible thing I've ever seen in my life. He was in SO much pain! It was Peek's dad, William. I dont' want another glider to have to suffer as he did. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crying.gif" alt="" /> So this is a warning about an UNSAFE TOY. There will be two pics. One of the ball with the hole chewed in it. The other of the ball bearings that were inside.

[:"green"]OMG! I'm so glad that Peek is okay... I never would have thought they would put something like that in a pet toy. That's horrible! Thanks for the warning. I'll make sure I never buy one of those... [/]

I'm glad to hear he's going to be fine!!! It's terrible what they put inside of toys...I had a hacky-sack filled with the beans like normal and then those ball bearings also.

I didn't relize the bearings inside were that small. I found this toy at Petsmart, in the ferret section grouped together wth some other toys.
