I didn't expect her color to get this light and now I am wandering if she is turning platinum.

the first was when she was 3 months old and the second is at a year old.

A lot of mosaics "powder out" as they get older. My Monet did the same thing, although not as drastically.

The photo marked "Two" is the day I got him at abut 9 weeks old (before he had a real name lol), and the one marked Monet is from last summer at just over a year old.

My mosaic did that too, some do it as they get older.
It's really not all that uncommon.

Here he is 3 months ago (he's gotten lighter since, his dorsal stripe is disappearing, and his body is turning white instead of silver)

Thanks for sharing! Any idea as to how long the colors will be fading? If it happens much longer, she will turn solid white! LOL

I've seen mosaics do just that. Well turn nearly white at least.
I've also heard it happening throughout the gliders lifetime. I don't think there is anyway to tell how long it will last or how white your glider will get.
