Not sure what it is or which one of my girls is doing it.

It kind of sounds like halfway crab mixed with a quick breath. Not sure if it is normal or what. Maybe like a choking kind of thing. I hear them do it and then check on them and the noise stops, so I assume they are okay. Just seeing if anyone else had heard this before?

From what you've described, it sounds like one of the gliders is in pain for some reason. I would bring them both in to the vets for urinalysis, fecal float AND fecal smear to make sure there is no infection (bacterial or parasitic) going on. Can you tell if the glider making the sound is trying to defecate or urinate while making the sound? My Darwin makes that sound when he is constipated. After getting a clean bill of health in regards to infections, my vet prescribed Lactulose - which is a glider-safe laxative.
