I have two 1 year old bonded glider girls whom I just got a couple weeks ago now. I have been doing a lot of tent time and I try to carry them around in the pouch as much as possible and they seem to be bonding well for the time frame, but I am having a hard time with feeding them licky treats. One of my gliders bites me whenever I give her a licky treat. And not just one of those little nibbles where you get the warning first. I mean HARD and FAST. Of the two she is the most outgoing and sleeps very little. I am not sure if her biting is a)overzealous about licky treats, b)her not quite being sure about me yet, and is cranky about it, or c)possibly a health problem. Does anyone have any suggestions of what this probably is or how to stop it? Her buddy is very sweet and gentle, especially when food is involved. Please help. My fingers are starting to show battle scars.

You might want to try a grape half. Turn it inside out and use it like a thimble on your finger.

Judge not until you have walked in their shoes and lived their lives. What you see online is only part of the story.

I could have missed the pain

Zow used to be a pretty aggressive biter, I offered knuckles first. It was harder for her to break the skin, & when she did, it didn't hurt as badly!

Well JMO but I do not believe in doing the licky thing. I believe it encourages the biting instinct. Remember just my opinion. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/heartpump.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/read.gif" alt="" />
