Another Hoosier! I'm in southwest Indiana in the little town of Poland. Smack dab in the middle of Cloverdale, Greencastle, Spencer, & Brazil. I'm going to be adopting two suggies in a couple of weeks. I am sooo excited! Also, glad to know there are more people from Indiana on here. Most people I know look at me like i'm nuts when I even mention sugar gliders. I'm hooked and don't even have mine at home yet! lol!

Hi carrie_ramey! I am in North Vernon. Not sure how far that is from you. Be careful, gliders are addictive! I have 4 adults, two new joeys and 2 in pouch! I love them soooo much, I spend as much money on them as I do my human children. Anyway, happy to hear that you will be getting your babies soon!

Hi ltlrdangel! I am probably almost 2 hours west of you. It take me about an hour to get to Bloomington. Also, it's too late...i'm already hooked! I've been on this site for awhile now and spend a couple of hours everyday just reading and learning as much as I can. I went nuts when the site was down! This is such a wonderful place with alot of great people!

I went nuts when this site went down also. That is when two of my joeys decided it was time to oop. I'm am a first timer when it comes to my babies having their babies, so I was very nervous. I went to another place to ask questions, but I just didn't like it as well.
I am happy there are some glider parents not too far from me. I have heard of a couple more that are very close by, but they don't get on here.
Well, anyway....WELCOME and good luck! Are just waiting on the joey to be weened? You are getting a baby girl and her mommy right?

I was waiting because I got married on Sept 29th and was going out of town. I didn't want to get them and then stress them even more with someone else taking care of them while I was gone. Now, of course, my emergency fund has been wiped out due to my husband's truck going down. There goes $1200.00. lol! It's either laugh or cry...personally, I would rather laugh! Anyways, now i'm hoping that I can pick them up in a week or so after my fund is built back so I can get Gracie(mom) & Chloe(joey) in for check-ups. Chloe was 8 weeks oop Sept 22.

Wow there are alot of people from IN! Way more on the site then I see in person though I live in a small town of Winchester! We're ten minutes away from the Ohio line, thirty minutes from Muncie, and about an hour and a half from both Indy and Ft.Wayne! I live around a bunch of people who don't care for pets so much, let alone exotic ones! Everybody loves it when my wife and I walk through town with 5ft. snakes! Anyway, just wanted to say hi to my state!

I grew up in Deerfield, but I'd assume that not many would have any idea where that was. My fiance grew up here in Winchester. My folks opened up a business in Portland though, so I lived there for 2 years. I didn't realize Portland had gliders... I've walked around the fair with mine before but everybody seemed like they weren't familiar with them.
