Hello, I am also in Tucson. Born here, raised a Navy brat and lived in Memphis, Tennessee; Camarillo, California; Lisbon Falls, Maine and Fort Worth, Texas. Came back to Tucson, married, popped out a few kids....you know "life happens". Glad to see some Arizonans, my first glider I purchased in Fort Worth, and adopted two rescues there as well. Noticed no breeders here in AZ, so I am looking at options for getting my newest pair.

Hello My name is Savanna, I'm pretty new to the glider world. I have a beautiful girl name Lulu that I am getting more and more attached to each and everyday. I also live in Arizona. I am currently living in Safford. I read some post about get togethers, and I would be very excited to be apart of that. I would love to be around other people who share my love for sugar gliders and I would also love to talk to people who are much more experienced then I am. If anyone has information about get togethers please let me know.:D Savanna

Hello from Mesa New to the glider world also. My name is Derek and I was born and raised in Mesa, Arizona I'm semi retired and have lots of time for my new additions. Just a little about my sugar gliders I have in the last three weeks taken in five breeding pairs, one breeding trio, one 6 to 8 week oop joey and one new oop joey as of yesterday. I have applied for a USDA breeders license as of yesterday and will post more info about my license if and when I get one. If there is any other breeders in the area I would love to meet and talk with you about sugar gliders I would also like any information about get togethers in the area. Thanks and Read you later.
Thanks Derek AZ Sugar Gliders USDA LICENSED BREEDER 480-289-9141 2 Dogs 1 Cat 18 Sugar Gliders 3 3 10 2 8 children (5 Boys 3 Girls)

Who's close to Mesa area?
We may be moving to the area soon.
My mother-in-law lives in Apache Junction, we will stay with her (so limited space) for a while. Hoping to find jobs quickly and then a house to rent within a couple of months after arriving. Looking at homes to rent now for price-point estimate in the San Tan/Queen Creek area. MD is ridiculous high to live in and we have to move anyway, the house/property we rent is up for sale and we don't want to wait it out.
Lives with: 1 God 1 dog, (Willow) 1 Sugie, (Ollie) R.I.P. Lulu (2/28/12-10/13/17) R.I.P. Skadoosh (2/28/12-3/26/18)

I'm here! Now working, but DH still looking for job. Hoping things go smoothly for our move.
Looking for recommendations for sitters for gliders out here. I don't know anyone that I can ask to watch and care for them when I get a chance to visit my family or other trips that may arise. I don't plan on taking many, but would like to get to visit my family 1-2 x/year, at the very least 1 x/year for at least 5 days to a week. I'm also not planning any trips for few to several months down the road, but like to start looking for sitter that is reliable and capable.

Welcome Terry! Why don't you check out the events forum we have a yearly get together coming up and you can meet lots of other sugar glider parents. Lots of them babysit and help each other. Will do, thanks a bunch.
