*I am on hold for the emergency vet in my area*, but please let me know if there’s anything I can do in the meantime. A piece of chocolate fell out of a bag and onto the floor, and I found it’s been nibbled at, maybe a piece missing the size of my pinkie nail (which is a lot for two sugar gliders). I’m not sure who ate it, it was within the last hour or so. Both of them are happy and playful but I’m obviously extremely worried. They would have had to get through the foil of the chocolate too, so I’m even more worried that they’ve ingested foil. Please please let me know if I can do something.

Was it milk chocolate or dark chocolate? Dark chocolate is worse.

I would push water, fruits that are juicy, such as water melon to flush it out of their system.

Milk chocolate (toblerone) which is apparently 28% cocoa solids, so very low for chocolate, but of course still dangerous. Good idea on the fruits!
