Hello. I was recently researching a lot of asperergillus mold and aflotoxin. It is a sporous mold so the mold itself is harful both ingested or breathed. It can cause organ failure and respiritory issues and is non-treatable although medical research indicates that a regular diet with veggies like carrots, parsnips, celery and parsley will reduce the carcinogenic effects of aflotoxins in the body. I would reccomend upping these items in diet at least for now as well as what was already reccomended regarding Vit E.
It is possible for a glider to live though it. They may or may not have adverse effects from it, just depends on the severity of the poisoning and how well their body can cope. There are people that carry life long conditions from liver failure and respiritory infections due to aflotoxin poisoning and inhalation of sporous aspergillus mold particles.
