I'm getting fairly annoyed now...neither of my females are showing any sign of having joeys IP...they both went through a "heat" in January, it was like a little love fest in those cages, and I witnessed the breeding many, many times. This went thru February, they calmed down, and I watched and waited. Here it is, April 21, and I see nothing. I've had them all on the wombaroo
diet since December (I switched
diets and like the difference in them I see with this new
diet), plenty of extra protein (mealworms, egg), fruit veggies etc and they are all extremely healthy looking and acting. But for both to not have any babies, something has got to be affecting them. I hate to switch their
diet again so soon, but I'm not sure what else to try. I had them on BML before, and I occasionally give them a tsp each of insectivorefare during the day for munchies. They are in my bedroom, get plenty of attention, and otherwise everything is absolutely great with them. They've all been
vet-checked within the last 6 months.
Previously, I had a trio together (2 females, 1 male) but the females were stealing each others babies. I confirmed this and now I have 2 pairs in 2 separate cages (since November).
Is there anything else I could be doing? Does anyone have any suggestions on something to try? I have the cages stacked on a rack, would separating them have any effect? Help me please!!! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/nixweiss.gif" alt="" />
