My husband keeps asking me if we should turn off the lights to encourage the suggies to come out and explore their cage. Do they need to be kept in darkness in the evening to come out? They barely ate last night, but we chalked that up to travels and new environment. They played briefly before we went to bed, but at 2am were still in their pouch, even though the room was dark. So, how much light/darkness is good??
Thanks!!
Oh, and I'm not sure if this is the right forum, I hope so!!

Fred and Ginger will need a few days to get used to being home with you. I suggest dimmer lights then what you probably normally use. Also, don't be to worried about them not eating as much for the first few days as long as they are eating something, they will be fine. Also, don't be afraid to put them into the tent to play. You might have to actually turn them out of the pouch and take their pouch out of the cage to encourage them to NOT go back to sleep. Be as consistant about play time as you can be (life gets hectic so be as consistant as you CAN be). Also about dinner time. Don't be afraid to wake them up either. If you do so at the same time each night, it will set up a routine for them to get used to.

Kiss them for me...I miss them...I know you all will do great together though.

Judge not until you have walked in their shoes and lived their lives. What you see online is only part of the story.
