[:"blue"] [/] I haven't been here in a while; everything has been going great, but my Daisy died suddenly last night. She seemed to be fine the night before, she took worms from me (and she was on BML), but when I came in last night I didn't see her running around. I felt the bottom of a pouch, and I felt her in there, but the bottom was so cold, like she wasn't in there. When I pulled her out, she was curled up like she was asleep, with her little hands over her face. I couldn't believe she was dead, she just looked peaceful and asleep. I thought about having a necropsy, but I couldn't bear the thought of her little body being cut up. I'm almost positive she died of a liver problem; her little hands and feet were yellow, and that's exactly how my boy looked when he died last year. I had trimmed her nails last week, and I thought she looked a little jaundiced, but I couldn't really tell. So I didn't take her to the vet. But she honestly acted just like she usually did.

Daisy just turned 3, and is survived by her mate, Rocky, 4 1/2, and son Niblet, 1 1/2. After I found her, Rocky seemed to be having a fit, but he was running up and down the cage marking everything. I held her out to him and Niblet, because I didn't know what they thought and I didn't just want her to disappear. We're all very sad. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/upset.gif" alt="" />

I am so sorry to hear about Daisy I know I only knew her for a short time she was a very sweet glider and I know she will be missed very much by Rocky and Niblet. I know that I cant make it better but she is up with all the other wonderful gliders running playing and jumping and watching over you and your crew.
