I think that FFR's site says something about them being easy to handle, so maybe it's just something that runs in the genes? I've heard of aggressive gliders having equally aggressive babies, despite every effort to handle them, so I guess that the "gentle" gene could be generic as well.

I haven't found that to hold true. Every joey has their own unique personality. The creamino joeys haven't been any different than my grays. Some are sweet right out of pouch. Some come oop with more of an attitude and need a bit more work.
