Hi there. I was wondering what would be the best way to clean a 260 gallon? I've been doing it in the laundry, but not sure if that is a legitimate way. Also, if it is, how much detergent should I put in there? A cup full? How often should I wash it in the wash machine? Thanks.

Edit: Sorry mods, I thought I hit Housing and Accesories. Could this please be moved there. Thanks.

I think Leyna uses reps, she could tell you how she cleans hers. She is pretty smart, I'd follow her advice there.

I just stick the cover of my rept in the washing machine on cold. I then hang it up and let it dry. If you put it in the dryer, it will shrink . I use approximately a cup of detergent (I think?) and no fabric softener or any of that stuff. I clean the frame with a disinfectant and water, then rinse it with a hose. Works great

I put mine in the bathtub, you can use a mild non frangranced dish soap or a little bit of bleach. After I scrub them and make sure all the soap is off I hang them to dry.
