So I've been trying to do bra training with my little Satu since i got him. Well it worked fine in the beginning of the first week. Now he crawls out and sits on my stomach after sleeping a while. I thought maybe it was because my bra's were to tight. But I've been reading that they like snuggling up in tight places...could it be because he's to hot? I wrap him in his little fleece blanket and tuck him in. Anyone got any ideas? Im not using a sports bra just diff regular bra's some clip in the front some in the back.

I have found that mine will go and stay in a lot better if it isn't so snug. I also do not wrap him up, I just put him in there.

I use a sports bra cause I feel like there's less chance of the gliders falling out! But if I'm sitting down for a while sometimes mine will come out and sit on my chest above the bra. There's three of them in there so I figured they do get a little warm from time to time between all of them and my body heat. dunno But if I'm up doing stuff nobody ever comes out. Have you ever tried it without the blanket to see if that makes a difference?

Nah. I just make extra sure I remember he's in there and don't press against my chest or anything like that. I haven't tried it withouth the blanket. I'll give it a shot. It has his scent on it so I thought it would make him more comfortable. And he does like to snuggle up in it. This morning i tucked him in and he decided he wanted to groom my chest! Our first groom! How excitingly painful. lol smile

I work in an office setting so I have to keep mine "hidden" too, like you. I just went and got a bunch of tanks with the shelf bra's in them. Hubby has ONE FIRM rule in regards to the suggies and that is that from my shoulders to my belly button is his - no suggies on my bare ladies! So I sewed around the shirt just above the elastic that's under the shelf area. After I've sewn all around I cut the top layer and second layer apart at the top of the shirt in front - so there's alittle pocket there. Does that make sense? THis gives lots of room and it's really easy to wear under whatever you're wearing. HTH - good luck wink

That sounds intresting? Got any pics? I'm not quite sure I understand. but basically what i'm getting is that you add an extra layer to the top and cut a whole for the babies? lol. bummer. My bf gets a little jealous his ladies are always occupied now. As my personal little alarm system seems to get very upset anytime anyone gets to close! laugh

Lol TokyoK, that's the same for my boyfriend. Whenever I'm around him he always asks if I have my gliders on me because he's a little afraid of them. roflmao Haven't squished them yet though, I think you'll be safe with yours. I thought I'd have issues with seatbelts, but as long as they're not too taught across your chest, they don't seem to mind. And I keep mine in a bra pouch because I tried just putting them in my bra and they kept sliding down until they'd be on my stomach, lol.
Hey Brittney, I'd love to see a pic of that shirt or a longer description, I'd like to try it!

Ok, I put on a sports bra and put lilly in there with a fleece square this morning. She seems to like it there, she is so darn cute, every time I check on her by lifting my shirt out I see her little face peeking out of the bra at me! I do have a question. After having my sons male get so sick and have his front hands paralized with the new toys in his caged I am a little nervous about doing laudry and such with her right here. What about spraying things like "shout" and stuff on your laundry to pretreat while having them in your bra? What if they take in the fumes? I am afraid it will make her sick.

Does anybody else worry about these kind of things or is it just me? Do you think they are protected since they are inside your shirt?

You'll have to try it and see, but I know I was trying to hold my niece with my gliders in my bra and it didn't work very well. You also will have to be careful about your 3 year old accidentally hitting or smooshing them. I don't have kids so I can't give any "real-life" experience with this, sorry.

Be very careful with gliders in your bra while in the car. Even if the seatbelt doesn't seem tight on them, if you were to get into an accident or even make a hard, quick stop the seatbelt could tighten quickly and cause injury to the gliders. worried

That is a good point. So what would you suggest for traveling in the car? What do you do?

I keep Lilly in her bonding pouch while out and about. I feel that keeps her safe.

Whether its law or not, I generally don't wear a seatbelt. But when I do I put Chester in his pouch which is lower to my stomach and not being squished by the seatbelt.

I usually wear a regular bra and a sports bra on top - that gives a little nook between my girls that is perfect for a little fur-butt or two. Not more than two though...I'm working with what I got, and it ain't much. tounge

Well I'm going to continue wearing a seatbelt no matter what, I've seen what can happen when you don't...be careful TokyoK...maybe I'll just wear the lap part and not the across the chest strap when I've got the suggies in their bra pouch though, that way we're both pretty much safe.

Thanks for the concern. smile I definitely do not want to promote not wearing a seatbelt. I've been in several bad accidents with and without one. But the lap part sounds good to me. Any one have any suggestions with diareah? I'm going to run a thread in the health section. Pm me.

Oh, don't just wear the lap belt! My pastor was almost cut in half by a lap belt. That's why they no longer just have lap belts in the back.

I figure the gliders are safer if I stay alive in the car, then not. I usually have them in their pouch and the straps are under the shoulder belt, but the pouch is not. If they are in my bra, I put the shoulder part under my 'ladies' and risk broken ribs. (You can get inexpensive clips that will hold the shoulder belt in place.)

I was reading about the issue with the seatbelt and thought I might chime in with a suggestion. You can buy these little seatbelt clamp things that will make the belt cross your chest either lower or higher than they normally would. They are made for children or short folks I suppose...but anyway, maybe that would work.

Take a look at that...it could work. clap

Thats a good idea Angel! I don't like seatbelts period due to an accident I was in. I had it on and was hit head on and the seatbelt cut into my chest and suffocated me and now i'm just alittle uncomfortable when I have to put one on.

Well, I don't wear my seatbelt most of the time but I am trying to get better about it. I can totally understand the way you feel, I think that would have affected me the same way. Atleast with that thing it will ride lower and further over on your shoulder and maybe that will help.

If you get one let me know how it works for you...I hope it does!
I am going to get some pictures up ASAP! I was trying to get pix last night and couldn't keep their little fur butts still long enough to get a good shot.lol I had them out in the living room and they were doing the "critter crack 500" across the back of the couch! dance They are so funny when I let them out there...they play a odd game of chase/tag/hide n seek with eachother! They are good boys though, they never get far away from me and frequently poke their heads over the cushion to check in with me and make sure I'm there. My guys are twins and could NOT be more different though...Jinx is the little "gentleman" and Mojo is pushy and rude (but still sweet of course! hug2 ) Anyway, I will get some pix up soon. Since I am new to this..where do I put them???
