ok, I have a question on the generations of wfb's.
as I'm told,
two 2nd generation wfb parents makes a 3rd generation baby.
one 2nd gen parent and a 3rd gen parent also make a 3rd gen baby.
but a 2nd gen and a 4th gen also make a 3rd gen.
You'd think you'd get a higher generation because your putting them with a higher generation.

Becki is right but maybe this will help a little..
a 2nd gen and a 3rd gen will produce a 3.5 gen.
a 2nd gen and a 4th gen will produce a 3+ something gen.
You can actually calculate out the + fraction if you wish but many will just add on the + so that you know one of the parents is a higher generation.
Or they will list the joey as a 3rd gen from a 2nd gen and a 5th gen parents.

There is no such thing as Het for WF. Either a glider IS a wf or it isn't. Sorry but no hets. In order for a glider to be a wf, atleast one parent has to be a wf. You can't put two greys together (even if they have wf parents) and get a wf joey from them.
I think all gliders are priceless. How much you might be able to sell the joeys for depends on where you are and who you are trying to sell to.

OK, now I am confused AGAIN! I was told that a glider that has WF parent(s) but does not exhibit the characteristics of a WF is a WF Het. And that it can pass on the color even tho it doesn't show the color. Now I am reading there are no such things as a WF Het. So, Mom is WF, dad is gray. Joey has bars under ears, he's just a gray and not a WF Het? Can a glider be a blonde but not WF? And if this is true, I was seriously misled when purchasing my gliders! Glad I have been advertising my male as a gray!

there is no such thing as a wf het, otherwise, you'd be able to put 2 hets together and produce wf babies. I think some breeders do advertise them as hets to let you know they have at least one wf parent, but, a better way is to just say "from a wf mom/dad" or from wf parents (something along those lines).. Yes, a glider can be a blonde, but not a wf. So, Mom is WF, dad is gray. Joey has bars under ears, he's just a gray and not a WF Het? Correct, just a grey.
