Ok I have a few questions on this. I have two joeys 12 weeks oop. They are somewhat tamed but still dont like to be handled that much. I am REAL nervous about putting them in my bra the thought of a bite on my breast.... I'll take the bite on my hand easily but I am not too thrilled on the prospect of a bite anywhere else. Do you guys bra train joeys you have bred or older ones you have purchased? How tame should they be to bra train? BTW what do the men do?????

When I have my babies in my bra I wear a normal bra with a sports bra over the top of it that way they are in between the two. Some use bra pouches that are purchased from sweet and sour sugargliders and others use tank tops with a built in shelf bra. What do mean use? Most men just have pocket babies to my knowledge...if Im wrong step up and give a shout.

hehe I would love to see a guy with a bra baby! wait.... actually that might be a little weird so never mind. When my baby gets scared he dives down my bra....... even if it is not a sports bra! I don't know HOW he fits. hehe Let me just point something out though. Even bonded and tame gliders will nip a persons breast. I don't know why but they do. My baby nips me from time to time and I about jump out of my skin. He like ti chew on my hands and "groom" me so maybe that's what he thinks he is doing. .. So, if you are no too keen on getting nipped from time to time then I would just have your glider be a pocket baby or just keep them in a pouch. I hope this helps.

To answer your question about how to go about it, I'll tell you what I do...
With joeys I've bred myself, it's very easy... as very young joeys will sleep anywhere that's soft and warm I just start carrying them (I use a sports bra for little joeys and a tank top w/ built in shelf-bra for older joeys and adults) for a short time each day. A young joey will settle right down and to back to sleep.
For gliders I get as adults who aren't already bra trained, it takes a bit longer, but I haven't had any problems. First, I like them to be at least kind of comfortable with me. I have the same fear you do, and thankfully haven't been bit *there* yet Then, I put on a tight fitting shirt with long sleeves, and then a loose fitting one over it and tuck them both in. Put the glider between the 2 shirts. This is best done in the day, not night, btw. The glider will probably crawl around all over and look for a way out. Just use your hands (outside the shirts) to block the exits when they get close to them. Before long, the glider will settle down and go to sleep. Some of mine prefer to sleep at the bottom, some near the arm pit, and one smack in the middle of my back. Once you can put them into your shirt and they will curl right up and go back to sleep, you're ready to try putting them in the sports bra or shelf bra or whatever. They'll get the hang of it and will start to really love it. Before you know it you'll have little "shirt divers" on your hands

Wow! I was wondering how to bra train my glider since this is my first glider, So I saw this and took your info Natalie and I took mine right out of her pouch (She's not bonded to me that much but she lets me pick her up) and placed her in my sports bra. For a couple min. she tried to get out but after she stretched herself out and went to sleep. Thanks!

Yes I agree with Natalie. All 3 of mine are bra babies. I was skeptical at first but I really wanted to have bra babies instead of carrying them around in a pouch etc. I don't even carry a purse. I tried the pouch thing first and on a whim I tried it with my first. She thought that was the best and could sleep from 10 a.m. until I was waking her at 11:30.p.m. I always keep a slice of apple or grapes in there in case she would wake. I usually put their blankie in there also which always seems to show. In public I am always adjusting things in my bra top or when I bend over I always am putting my hand over that area just in case. I try to always try to take their travel or bonding pouch with me Then I got my second and he would either go under my breast or around the side since my first had dibs on the cleavage. My third I keep him separated for the quarantine period. I hope my first two will accept him otherwise I will be getting #4. I introduced the first 2 about 6 weeks apart. Mine are all 5 mos. Bra babies are the best. Sorry gang 'you can't have mealies in my bra top'. I have noticed when they are first waking up at night and start grooming they will groom me also. If they really seems to be getting into it I will intervene. It is so great when you look down and someone is peeking out or they just sit in their like a papoose with their little hands poking out. Last night both of mine were sharing the 'middle' and all you could see was 2 rear feet sticking out along with 2 tails curled over the top of my top. It was so adorable and no one was here to take a pic. Hmmmmm I wonder how many gliders I can keep in my bra top?

lol, Kiana kept on trying to groom my chest or something lol. But, She like manuvered herself so she was under my breast and that's where she is right now. It's so cute cause I looked down and she was looking up at me then went back to sleep. I think mine will be really easy to bra train.lol.

I agree with what everyone has said already. Tink is an experienced bra baby by now, she prefers my cleavage to any pouch, or even to her man! Flurry's getting the hang of it, but he usually crawls out and explores or goes under my breast lol. It takes awhile, but they eventualluy curl up together. With one, you can go anywhere and be discreet, no one will know... but now that I have two in there, there's a huge bulge lol. I might have to whip out the Sissy Pouch as they continue to grow.

I have to say, I am ummmm, well endowed and my gliders are lucky to fit in the clevage! They have never even tried to go under my breast! Poor little darlins would get squished!
Mine do groom me and it is so weird to have your clevage licked. They have nipped a couple of times but usually only after they have been licking for quite a bit. I usually will put a stop to the licking before they get to the nipping point. I also have the advantage of them having limited space so there isn't as much of a target they can nip!

After reading about "bra babies" on here recently I have slowly been trying it. The thought never crossed my mind before! I am still in the process but thank you all for the suggestions. I think my husband is jealous though lol.

I do am large in that area and I also wonder how they fit that is why the bra tops I like better there is more 'give'. I do stop the licking just in time so far.

Haha hunny, it's okay! More room for the kids. I am pretty well endowed, and I can squeeze 2 in there, somehow! You're lucky, I was well on my way when I was 14 lol

I am 41. I too have been very developed since I was 13 but in the last 10 years they have grown even more! I can fit two youngsters or one big adult. I think two adults would fit but.....

I developed quite early also but the time I was 15 I was a D cup. UGHHHHHH. Finally at the ripe age of 48 I had a breast reduction to a C from a DD. 2 years later after losing 30 lbs. I was down to barely a C. Now I have gained about 35+ lbs. I am a D cup again. I need to lose this weight. to make room for more babies. Ha ha.

I'm wondering how long a 2 week oop baby can hang out in the cleavage without getting too hot? Not meaning he's squished in there and can't breathe or anything... I definitely have no worries there! ha.. But I know it's not good for them to get too hot. If I'm wearing a cotton t-shirt and he's hanging out in there, will that be okay for temperature??

I'm just a C cup, But at least Kiana will have enough room and once I fully bond with her I'm going to buy her a little friend, Then I'll have to bra train another one.

I just got a pair for christmas (after waiting & researching for 2 years)....I had been wondering what "bra" training ment in glider talk. I was thinking it was some special pouch thingy.... Thanks for the clarification. But it appears that I'm a veterin bra mommie....I've always kept my critters(snakes, lizards or birds) in my bra....so much so that everyone always wants to know who I have in there (not if I have anyone in there). I figured it would only be a matter of time before I put them in there anyway, that bonding pouch bounces to much (unless I put it on the inside of my shirt.

I am pregnant (and so is my glider Arwen!) and my babies don't fit in my bra cups any more. You can try to wear the bra above your breasts so the gliders are the only things in the cups. It is working well for me, and I don't have to worry about nipple bites. This would only work with wireless bras and not in public!

i also carry newborn orphan kittens in my bra...makes people look at me weird when i'm talking to them and patting my chest...or i suddenly reach down my shirt...its great! at work i had one guy look at me shocked, pointed to my chest and exclaim there MOVING!
