I have read that Gohpw with Green juice is a low sugar option. I have 6 gliders, 3 males are normal to full size weight. the 3 females range from chubby, to "to big" and finally OBESE. so I worry about the females health long term. so my question. I feed Ohpw, will switching to Gohpw and the lower honey content help reduce the gliders wieght at all? NOTE: I do feed them a few to many dried mealworms from time to time, they usually get some every other night, but.. this doesn't seem to make the males overweight.
thanks, john

Green juice does add sugar. I would go with OHPW aka Critterlove Original and cut back on the fruit.
Are they all in the same cage?
Get a roll a round from Spinzone Global and make those girls exercise. I I have an obese female and she runs in the wheel all the time.

I do feed OHPW now. they are all in the same ROOM. free roam. they sleep in pouch in cage at daytime and then have a naptime in the ball pit on other side of room during the night. they get around on the wheels (raptors and freedom wheels) some. the one female that is smallest does run a lot on the wheel. but she is still over weight. I feed a good amount of veggies, they really love veggies, and fruits on top in slightly smaller amount, they eat less of the fruits. the spinzone sounds like a good idea.

What is your definition of obese? Remember, since they have free roam they will also build up a lot more muscle due than one in a cage would. Also, you may want to consider switching over the the Plus or even the Complete. Each of these are a tad less in bioavailable protein to the gliders since the Wombaroo was used in rehabbed gliders.
Also, as Kimberly stated, cut back on fruits and all treats. Are you making one of the Critter Love salads to feed alongside the OHPW?
As for the green juice. It has more sugar in it than if you stuck with the Original. It also dilutes the formula, one of the reasons I stopped recommending it YEARS ago.
thank you much for your answer. Unfortunately I can not weight them right now as my cheap scale kills the small quarter batteries, I even store the batteries OUT of the scale but still dead. so no weights, but we used to weight the gliders in the past. gizmo and link, males were 160 and 153 grams, they might be slightly bigger. scarface, female, looks bigger, and riggs is much bigger, so much so she seems to have trouble eating or getting small food out of bowl, or picking up mealworms with her mouth. and usually during snack time riggs stays in the sleeping area or comes out late and gets little of the snacks. I would post pictures but this site is hard for me to do that. so I ordered fish sticks for a snack so I can cut down on mealworms, I read they are 10% the calories and very healthy. I think I make salad 5 with the OHPW. We started diet TPG, but we both didn't like it for several reasons. We switched to critterlove complete for awhile, we got some free gliders with wombaroo powder and decided to give it a try. I think price was one of the major reasons. The gliders loved it, not that they didn't eat the complete. I think when I compared price I found the wombaroo cheaper then PLUS, so as long as I could get it from Australia we decided to go with that to save money specially since we had gotten up to 15 gliders. now at manageable 6 gliders. lastly... looking into Gohpw, its 120 calories per cup vs 750 calories 3/4 cup honey. about 40% reduced calories and read its full of the good stuff, vitamins, etc. then green juice 26 grams of sugar vs 255 grams of honey 3/4 cup (but honey is not sugar) so the calorie count and chance to reduce weight is what got me thinking about this version of the diet, would be also super simple to just buy a bottle and substitute for the honey. no big diet changes.

I feed both CLC and CL plus depending on if we are travel/working or working from home. My freezer is just so big in 5th wheel. Mine like both. I feed salad #3.
As far as my gliders go, I have a small 97gr girl, a rambunctious 152gr boy, and a 157gr girl who is a bit chunky but also active. Size wise, my boy is much bigger than the girls. He's also stronger and very hyper. I wouldn't take any calories away from him for fear of starving his muscle.
Dawn Be patient, and Trust your journey.... Grace Ruby Mom Fiona, Dot, Stewie and Dad Wish I could turn back time... Miss you all...
