I have a 4 yr old Male neutered sugar glider who 5 days ago we heard crabbing and rushed over to the cage and found him on the bottom wrapped around a toy with what looked like seizures, my husband reached in and picked him up thinking he might be stuck but he was not and he was displaying the seizure like behaviour and biting my husband arm over and over, we took him to the vet immediately but the vet could not find anything wrong and sent us home with antibiotics but our little boy is still sluggish and not himself and he has been taking the antibiotics for 4 days so far.

Is he eating?

We are not vets, nor can we give you vet advise, but this is what I would check for, and watch for:

Is he dehydrated? Tent test will help determine that. Pull up on the skin at the base of his neck and back. It should drop fairly soon. If it stays that way, he's dehydrated. May need to give him some juicy fruits like watermelon, seedless grapes, cantaloupe.

Is he walking steady? Having issues with climbing? What did he eat the night before?

And last but not least, what diet to you have him on?

Thank you for your reply,

He has been to the vet and the vet can not find anything wrong!!!!!! This is where I am stuck!!!!!

He is hydrated,

He does not walk so steady and he is moving very slow,

He is on critter love,

The vet has him on antibiotics but with not much improvement,

His cage mate is female that is two years older and is running circles around him, ( not literally).

Oops! I forgot a question....

Is he going potty/ poo OK? Not straining, or making noises?

Did the vet feel his tummy?

Ladymagyver his poop was firm but no noises, yes the vet did feel his tummy.

Feather I dont think so but at this point anything is possable, he is moving slow and he is eating I have not really seen him drink but he could be through the night, he is not feisty at all he is not jumping or doing much of anything but walking around, eating and that's about it!
