I continue to keep my two leu girls separate from my two boys! They are side by side in good size cages. However, during tent time I cannot let one of my feisty girls near the boys. Snowball is constantly trying to fight either or boy. At one time someone stated to move Marshmallow in with the boys but I really want to either have two cages or one-with at least two in each cage. Now, after all these months, I am no longer sure! Do gliders sometimes just never accept a different colony? Snowball slaps and hisses at Marshmallow if she tries to play with the boys and will become (I can only describe as defensive) when the boys attempt to play with Marshmallow and she them.

Sound like she doesn't want to share her buddy. I would go ahead and introduce the female that likes the boys and let the other female live alone for a week or so. Here is my article on introductions: http://www.glidercentral.net/ubbthr...roduce-gliders-to-each-other#Post1407885

Snowball definitely needs a time out. Once she is alone, watch her for over grooming. Make sure she has things to do, and extra blankies to sleep with. She has become quite the alpha, and wants to make sure the boys know who is boss right up front. She sounds just like Dot. I had to separate her from Stewie for a bit and allow Fiona and Stewie to bond. She is still the alpha, but has accepted Stewie who still challenges her from time to time. It's hard to watch, but their scuffles are quick and has taught Stewie some manners as well. Once she has been alone, try intros in the morning. Make it a day you can observe them throughout the day. Especially at dinnertime. Be sure to serve several dishes, separated, and hidden from each other. In my experience I've learned food aggression can cause problems too. If it doesn't work out, put snowball back in to time out for a few more days.
Dawn Be patient, and Trust your journey.... Grace Ruby Mom Fiona, Dot, Stewie and Dad Wish I could turn back time... Miss you all...

Okay, I will try this weekend-I will allow Marshmallow to play with the boys and leave Snowball in her cage, then move those three into the boys cage after I clean it.
