Is it safe for sugar gliders? Note: Debittered Brewer's Yeast / Nutritional Yeast is NOT the same as instant yeast or any baking kind of yeast. Srlb *Glideritis Anonymous* Joined: Oct 2003 Posts: 16,800 St. Johns, Florida	You have to be careful when offering Brewers Yeast as it is very high in Selenium which can be fatal in animals if too high. It is also high in iron which is very hard for a sugar gliders liver to process (iron). Personally, I would never recommend offering it to sugar gliders.
