I have 4 gliders. One of my female caramels has a brown stained belly. Other then that she appears fine. I have noticed a MUCH stronger smell from the cage too. The other three look fine as well. Should I be concerned enough to take her to a vet. Can I try cleaning her belly if I can? My gliders are on TPG. Thank you.

Does the staining seem to be in the fur? Not wet?
When mine had a UTI, there was a strong urine smell to the cage.
The cage may just need a good scrubbing with vinegar water or dawn dishsoap top to bottom, including the wheel. Wait I mentioned wheel... Especially the wheel...

The fur is not wet that I can tell. I was wondering about the UTI possibility and/or just from having a dirty cage but i cleaned the cage using green stump (i cant tolerate the smell of vinegar). I also the next day cleaned the wheel and toys. I will admit i was delinquent in cleaning their tray every day so at first i thought it could be just a dirty belly but she is the only one and the cage smells bad again after only a few days. Normally i cant smell it unless i get real close and i can smell it outside the room.

I would take her to the vet, have them check her for a UTI and also check her pouch to make sure she doesn't have an infection in her pouch, this would cause the belly staining.
