How do you tell if he is experiencing a too low drop in body temp. This was gizmo who we wanted to try a night at home to see improvement. But i am worried about his temp since at vet he did struggle to keep it up. How do you check a gliders temp? No where i can find how to check body temp. Or symptoms of hypo thermia
Sorry if this doesnt not constitute emergency guidelines.

I don't know that I have ever read anything about a glider's temp other than if they feel cold to the touch. It is hard to know if he is trembling because he is cold or just because of his condition and the fact he is terribly ill.
When he is not interested in eating, I would place him in his pouch with plenty of fleece blankets so he can snuggle down to get warm. Did the vet think placing a heat lamp over the cage might help?
Have you thought about getting a second opinion about what might be best for your little fella?
I would cover the cage on three sides and the top. If you can put him in the warmest room of your house that would be great.
I agree with Karen about a second opinion.

i live in delaware (19711) the only place that seems to see exotics is Windcrest animal hospital. that's where he first took him. do you know any within reasonable driving distance? say less than 200 miles? that we can take him to. not sure long trips is good for him.

don't think any of the listed offered any in way of rehab.
We took him the other day to the vet. they were surprised at his recovery (actually thought we were taking him to be put down). gizmo is still underweight I think but is seemingly doing stable. he is on antibiotics for some eye issue and prophylaxis for possible infections.
we continue to monitor him but are happy with his recovery he still circles and may for life. would like to get him in some rehab but i think he will make it fine now. thanks for everyone's comments and support.
