Hello everyone,
I wanted to introduce my self, as well as my baby nebula. I had been obsessed with sugar gliders for aslong as I can remember, and obviously I did months and months of research before I got my little Nebula, and I waited until the Time was right. As for her, she was not really getting along with her family and she didn’t bond to anyone in her colony. She would bark at 530am every day even though she had 8 other gliders that where related to her. The lady who I got her from has had gliders for years so she was taken really good care of and she is very healthy. She loves her new home and is constantly playing with all her new toys she loves her wheel, I keep her active and hide food for her so she can forge for it. I take her out at night every day and she’s really good about staying on my unless I allow her to play in the bathroom. She is alone and I want the best life for her and I have seen this in a lot of other threads should I attempt to try to get her a friend? I already believe the answer is yes, just for me to keep them away from each other but she bonded with me and seems to absolutely love life she has a schedual that she created and sticks to (I think it’s adorable) but I just wanted to introduce us and maybe get some opinions from you guys!

Welcome!! A friend for her would definately be a good thing, but it does sound like she's thriving as things are. It's great how happy you two are together.

That is what I thought too. And thank you so much she literally goes everywhere with me and she is so curious. We are visiting family for a few days when we get back I am going to look in to getting her a friend. Should I get a nutuerd male or female? Or does it not matter to much?

I agress withKimberley, it shouldn't matter. It comes down more to each personality that anything else, from what I've seen & read... & these fuzzbutts have a lot of very unique personalities

And hutch idk if you named your gliders after the show Merlin, or if you just like Merlin, but the show Merlin is one of my favorite shows. It’s unfortunate that they canceled it!

I choose Arthurian myth names becuase I've been living in Europe the last five years & wanted something to reflect the enviroment. I also wanted something that would be easy to pull more names from if I get more gliders in the future (Percival & Nimue are up next) so I could continue the theme. The only influence I took from the show is how they changed Morgan le Fey to Morgana. It was a good show.
