It could be your soap or lotions. How old is he? How long have you had him? If he is a joey, he or she could be starting the terrible two stage. It you haven't had him long you could be rushing the bonding process and he is trying to get you to slow down.

Try feeding him treats like honey, full fat yogurt, through the cage bars. First use a straw, popcicle stick, or a small spoon. See if he attacks it. He may not even come to the cage bars.
Talk to him softly, sing a few lullabies, or read to him. Tell him about your day in a soft sing song way.
When you walk into the room, let him know you are there.
Does he have a sleeping pouch? Is he comming out of the pouch to bite?
He has learned if he bites, you flinch and go away. When you have to open the cage and he's awake, offer your tight fist. When he bites, don't flinch or pull away. Since the skin on a tight fist is hard to get a good hold of, he will eventually give up. Pull your fist out when you are ready, not because he bit you.
