I did do some research, and so far, I haven't found much first aid info on dry ears.
Hutch is right, humidity is very important.
A thermometer in their room is important too. One that reads highs and lows in a 24 hour period. They may be getting to warm, and with dry heat, the ears drying out will be an indicator along with cracked fur.
How cool does this room get without a heater?
Forgot to add that they may try to groom anything you put on their ears off, which may cause more damage than good.

I agree with Hutch and Dawn! The only thing you could safely put on their ears would be a little (very small amount) of coconut oil.

I didn't mention this in the previous post, but guys, there is a new product out on the Exotic Nutrition website that you use to help my gliders' dry skin issue and it is supposed to improve their coat health. I haven't bought it YET since I have this (perhaps irrational) fear of overdosing my gliders on vitamins. You are supposed to spray one pump onto their food each night. Mind checking it out and giving me your opinions? I'll put the link below. Its called VitaGlow. VitaGlow Page

I myself wouldn't use it. Some gliders will not eat anything that has something sprinkled or sprayed on their food.
I would just ad a humidifier to the room and in the mean time put a little coconut oil on the ears.

The only time I give treats is when I am taking pictures, the only time my gliders get a "junk food" night is when we have turkey, then they get some of the white meat if we just get turkey breast, if we cook a whole turkey I will break up the carcass and turn them loose on it.

VitaGlow Page AlyCatz you mentioned this VitaGlow stuff and that is how treats got brought up in this thread. My gliders are on a very good diet and I don't stray from it except as: The only time I give treats is when I am taking pictures, the only time my gliders get a "junk food" night is when we have turkey, then they get some of the white meat if we just get turkey breast, if we cook a whole turkey I will break up the carcass and turn them loose on it.
