I'm telling this story of my dream so I won't have it again...
I woke up in my dream to my daughter comming in late for a weekend visit. She drags her stuff in, and settles in the guest room. I went in the room to check on her and find her asleep on the bed hugging a small box with the flaps partly opened. As I drew nearer to the bed, I saw a little pink nose peek out of the box.
"What's in the box?" I asked. She startled at my voice, and tried to cover the opening of the box, but it was too late... Sugar gliders - lots of them started jumping out of the small box, running all over the bed!
"Where in the world did you get all these gliders?"
She said, "A woman handed them to me at the gas station, and asked me to take care of them for her, and then she drove off. When I peeked in the box, I knew they were for you."
So I said, "Here put the box in my extra cage(that appeared suddenly) while I gather the rest of them off the bed."
Then my daughter looked at me and said" But that cage isn't safe! Look, it's got small chicken wire in it!"
I'm like, "I don't really care right now, I have to corral them all. How many are there?"
"How am I supposed to know?"
"Oh jeeze, just put the box in there so we can at least get a count!"
She did, and I started collecting gliders one at a time, turning them over and checking them as I hand them to her:, 1 boy,2 boy,3 girl,4 not sure,5 girl, 6 girl, 7 not sure...
I'm thinking, what in the world am I gonna do with all these gliders! My second thought was Oh gosh! Boys! There were boys! Great... Now what have I done!?!
At that moment, Dot appeared on my shoulder... "what are you doing out of the cage!?!" At that moment, Dot dove in to the cage with all those strange gliders! There were 3 sleeping
pouches(which suddenly appeared too) and with all the ruckus, I didn't see which one she went in to... I was thinking, oh great, most of these are standard greys... I'm not sure how many there are, I should have separated boys from girls, and now my standard grey is among them. Is she fighting them? Lots of wiggling in each pouch, oh geez, now what do I do??? Can I tell her apart from them???
Right then, I woke up...
Hubby was sitting at the foot of the bed, playing with the girls... I guess I'll find out later when he wakes up what he and the girls were doing to give me such a dream! Lol!!!
