So, we are in Jackson, MS working still. I think I must be going stir crazy!!!

I have been anxiously awaiting a review from a member about this travel cage:

http://www.sugar-gliders.com/glider-cages/24-collapsible-travel-cage.html
On 8/31, I ordered one. Last week I checked on my order... It was pending still. I emailed. Nothing., so just for fun I looked them up... They are in a suburb of Houston... God I felt like an idiot!!! Now they have a message saying they will re-open on 10/ 1. I emailed them again and apologized, and could wait...

So lesson learned: When Internet shopping, pay attention to where shop may be located!!! Especially when we have fires west of the rockies, hurricanes, and flooding... I need a thesaurus right now... I want to read every synonym for fool, idiot, and dolt...

Please hit me with a few more, I think it will make me feel better!!! Lol!!!

Yes, many times.

Oh, by the way, I've been waiting and hoping for a review on that as well. So, maybe when you get and use yours, you can do one grin

Yes ma'am I will!

I have several travel cage options. I need something a bit more sturdy and something they can take a long ride in, and stay in while visiting that is a bit easier to maintain while using...

Yep yep yep I sure have. agree

A few times in just the last few days to be exact.

Idiot feeling #1... Thursday morning. My husband leaves the garage door up when he goes to work because I leave 15m later to take the kids to school. I take the kids to school and come home, as I'm standing on the front porch and the garage door is closing I realize I grabbed the spare set of car keys (with no house keys) and am now locked out. It's 8am my husband just gets to work and now I've gotta call and tell him to come home again and let me in. He did, laughingly.

Idiot feeling #2... Same Thursday afternoon. I leave to go to the store. Get out of my car and begin walking away. Oops didn't lock the bug! Look down at my hand for my key fob, it's not there. Left my keys in the ignition! Thank goodness I didn't lock them in there. How could I forget my keys again today!

Super idiot feeling #3... Monday afternoon. Leaving to do school pick ups. Walk out of house. Hands are full, got my purse & phone, a big box that needs to go to Fedex, I'm wearing my gliders in the new bonding pouch I made that morning, grab my keys and lock the door behind me. Only to realize I HAVE THE WRONG KEYS! AGAIN!! I can't get into the garage, don't have the door key, so I cant drive. I had to walk to get my 2 younger boys (7m-10m walk so not bad) but it was hot and I had my gliders. My daughters school is further and too far to walk with everyone in tow. So im frantically calling her friends parents 10m before school gets out to get her a ride home. I dont have the school number even programmed in my phone yet since it's a new school for her this year. Im walking fast and trying to see my too dark phone screen in the bright sun in search the school phone number on their website. Ugh. I call the office to relay a msg to her and the lady laughs at me being locked out (haha, but I wasn't giggling) I get my sons and walk home to wait for my daughter and to send the text of shame to my husband. My sons are repeatedly asking me why I did this and complaining about the heat. I just felt like crying. How could I do this again and so soon? Hubby came home and let us in again and we agreed I need to work on bringing down those key forgetfullness odds.

Long story but in the end no humans or gliders were injured or forgotten in this mess, only my ego.

So yeah Ladymagyver, Ive felt pretty idiotic this week. At least you thought to look them up and see where they are located before sending out a second email to them (perhaps a teeny bit scathing about customer service) and you had the decency to apologize about inquiring the whereabouts of your order so soon given the circumstances. I'd say you are a good customer and good person for that matter.

I guess in the end.... we're just human. If only we could just be gliders, what a life. Sleep, eat, play. Sleep, crab, play, eat...etc.
