I spent about 45 mins. in our new tent this morning. This whole bonding thing is nerve racking. I am use to animals. I am comfortable with animals. Why do these little things cause such stress? All that aside, it was a success, I think. I had thought that doing tent time in the morning would be laid back because they were tired. Not so much. As soon as they poked their little heads out of their pouch, they perked right up. They explored the half of the tent I wasn't in then decided to include me. Several times they used my face as a landing pad. THAT will get your attention. There wasn't much petting. I just let them explore and gave some treats. After several fumbles, I finally got both back into their pouch and back to the cage.

sounds like success to me! When giving treats, try coaxing them to your knee or lap. When they stay there to eat, slowly try petting their head. Mine tolerate it very well and let me pet them anytime now... After they sniff my fingers for treats of course. Face hugs are very special! As they learn to glide, they look for things that are shaped like a tree trunk. Unfortunately, our heads are close to the right shape... But good news!!! They are starting to trust you!!!
Dawn Be patient, and Trust your journey.... Grace Ruby Mom Fiona, Dot, Stewie and Dad Wish I could turn back time... Miss you all...
