So Lilo and Kara LOVE Prickly Pear. I'd say as much as they love corn if not more(which they get on rare occasion because it's high in phosphorus). I read somewhere it's ok to keep the seeds in the prickly pear because the gliders will just spit them out anyway and go for the red/pink flesh around them. Is it ok to leave them in like with Kiwi?

From what I understand, yes the seeds are harmless.

I heard them chewing on them last night when I hand fed them. One spit the seed out and the other chewed a bit. I don't know if they spit it out or swallowed it. :-( They love eating the fruit part though. It's their new fav food it seems! Well.. They love dried papaya, pineapple, and coconut more as treats. :-b
