I just adopted my first glider. He's a two year old male saved from a less-than ideal situation. I've been reading everything I can. He was very underweight when I got him. Tested for parasites but thankfully clean. Just depressed, lonely and being fed a poor diet. I switched him to TPG and he's gained six grams already. After his neutering next week and as soon as he's clear, he'll be getting a new girlfriend. I'm experienced with exotics. I have an 18 year old saltwater reef, I breed bearded dragons and used to own a cockatoo and Amazon parrot. I'm looking forward to learning from the experts on these little guys.

Probably keep the gliders away from the tank though. They are poor swimmers and they have zero common sense about water. They will even brave the lights to explore the reef.

(I wonder if they would actually try and grab a fish?)

The tank is covered with a canopy. No gliders allowed! I keep sps, LPS, anemones, seahorses...I've done presentations on sand bed fauna at a couple of marine aquarium conferences. It's been a passion since 1999.

His new cage arrived! I know he'll like it especially after his new friend arrives April 8th. I made him a cork tree house too! I'm sure it was a bit overwhelming last night after the small cage he lived in.
