I am not 100% new to breeding, but this is only my third Joey. I am a tad confused on her color. According to genetics she should be a leu because she's almost all white. I do know leus are suppose to be 100% all white but my girl isn't. Her head is slightly off white, almost a yellowish, and she has a small silver diamond above her eyes. It makes me think of a white mosaic but her parents are normal and normal white faced, both having different hets.

I do have her in the database so maybe someone can look at her lineage and tell me what she should be based on that and her description. I can't get a good picture because she wont sit still! Shes under Pax and currently listed as a leu with the oop of 12/7/16.

In the data base, Pax's daddy is a 100 % platinum het, that means he has produced a platinum joey.

Pax's momma is a listed as a 100 % cremino het, this is wrong because she hasn't produced a cremino. She could possibly be a 66% or higher het, but not 100 %.

I would say you could have a platinum joey, I would need pictures to be sure.

The yellow on the joeys head is pouch staining and it will go away shortly after she quits nursing from momma.

Mom is 100% because her mom was a creamino. Baby would be 50% creamino het since dad has no creamino. I would say definitely post pics because plat/leu are a really slight chance since mom is a very low leu let.

Let me know if my link works, it wont let me upload pics for some reason so I made the pic public on my facebook. You can just barely see the diamond on her head in the pic but its very clear in person and its got darker since the photo, more silver. I do have a plat and Pax doesnt look like her which is why I thought maybe leu until I noticed her marking...

So leus can still have a color patch like that? That's the only thing that kept me second guessing.

They can, from nursing. It should go away after a few weeks
