Aria was so needing a proper gilder-bath, and some proper glider-love yesterday that I had another of my brilliant almost-plans.

If mommy is the problem and she's not providing milk anymore--what do I need her for?

So yesterday I started out, by taking Arrow and placing him in the incubator with his sis--letting them eat together and snuggle.
OH, the joy! So much happy chittering licking and petting. (especially cool through the glass)
"Look! Look! I found my brother!!!"
It worked so well, I took it a step further, and put dad in there.
DOUBLE Heaven. Instant acceptance and total family snuggle. Dad got to work straight away cleaning and loving up on his little girl. They all slept for hours and hours, in a big ball. Periodically the ball would re-arrange itself to have different eyes and limbs poking out in different places. Too cute to look away, almost.
Almost...
But I do look away...
Anyway don't ask me how, because that requires a lot more backstory, but I look back and Justin has managed to get himself and the kids completely doused in Critterlove formula. 100 percent coverage--tip to tail, and soaked to the skin.
So Aria gets a bath--again--and into the shirt.
I put Arrow back with his mom, who immediately starts bathing him.
Justin takes off to check on whatever it is they are still working on in the overhead storage. (It better be more than just a bunch of chewed cardboard this time...)

Not long after, he decides to come home to his loving wife for dinner...

And the sound of battle erupts from the cage!

Frisby doesn't recognize him with the smell of the formula all over him!
"Honey I'm home!"
"INTRUDER! DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE!!!"

Wow...they ARE smell-dependent. This happened before, when he went down the neighbor's chimney. Douse them in something stinky and they have no recognition--even between mates!
I'm sure he will get himself cleaned up enough to where she recognizes him--gonna take a lot of licking.

Poor guy! She must have thought he was out with some tramp!
