Tonight the mister and I literally went to 4 different local pet stores trying to find a good branch/perch for our suggie but no such luck. Does anyone have any recommendations on where I might be able to buy such online?

Also, we currently own the HQ Sturdy cage and are looking to buy another to fuse with the one. Basically turn 2 large cages into one. Does anyone have any recs or instructions on how to do that properly?

Most people don't use wood in their cages because it soaks up the gliders urine and starts to stink.

If they do put branches in, they order eucalyptus branches or use apple branches from trees that haven't been sprayed.

Hopefully someone will come along to tell you where to order the eucalyptus from.

Secondly, I use some wood perches in my gliders cage that I've purchase from either PetSmart or Petco. I find them in the bird section and it may be this or something like this perch

I checked the safe woods first and the packaging says Birch, and that is on the safe wood list Here .

I know wood isn't recommended because it absorbs urine, but my perches last a while before they get stinky. I wash them in V/w solution or even dish soap and rinse well, letting them air dry and they last a while, as long at least if not longer than Euc. Plus, my gliders didn't personally go much for the Euc anyway, but some gliders really like it, so it won't hurt to try it out with yours.
