Keeping sugar gliders requires a fair amount of time and work. Of all the elements needed to keep healthy and happy gliders, which do you enjoy most? Ok, to list a couple. Mine are : #1 Play time. I love giving supervised free-range time in their glider proof bedroom.Nothing like seeing them chase each other exploring areas that I change up to challenge their inquisitive nature. Love watching their acrobatics as they exercise. #2 Shopping for them. I loooove all the different stuff available. From husbandry to toys, all the stuff to coordinate and match. Love to see them light up whenever something new comes in. I'm like a little kid unwrapping presents lol #3 Preparing their food / shopping for it. I can only describe a sense of Zen as I prepare their food. The skinning, chopping of fruits and veggies I find so relaxing. I also enjoy mixing their choices off the Critter Love salad mixes. I always have a batch in the freezer pre made but I also switch it up with fresh produce every other day. I love having so many different options. ( Just don't open my freezer or avalanche lol) I may have to buy a separate freezer for us What are a few of your favorite things?

Cuddling, having them popping and clicking when you give them treats.
Little joeys skunking, now when I smell skunk outside I think of joeys.

#1 Out of cage play, I love the interaction between them and them and me. #2 Trimming their nails (gives me hands on and cuddle time, with them individually). #3 Cleaning and rearranging their cage, I love setting up new safe & fun cage designs & set ups. #4 Toy making & supply shopping, I love looking for new elements to introduce to their cage designs to make it new and exciting. Which although fun for me, it can be eventually disappointing if the new items doesn't revolve around food, lol.
Actually #'s 3 & 4 are tied for #3 spot.

I love "The Fist" time, or sitting and introducing my hand into their sleeping pouch, and they sppon with my hand and groom and snuggle
Hubby says there is no other noise more soothing in the world that a glider's popping and squeaking noise when they are content. Barking comes in second.Because we know they have eaten, and are ready to play with us.
Hoodie time is one of my favorite times with Fiona or on rare occasions Dot too.
I am a fuzzbut nerd BTW... There really isn't anything I do for or with the gliders that I don't adore... I am definitely a slave...
Dawn Be patient, and Trust your journey.... Grace Ruby Mom Fiona, Dot, Stewie and Dad Wish I could turn back time... Miss you all...

#1: Cuddle time. When they tolerate me touching, petting, etc. them while remaining on me, life is good. Popping or other happy sounds make my heart soar! #2: Out-of-cage play time. I love watching them explore an environment, maximize its usage, & demonstrate how intelligent & creative they are. That type of interaction was a huge part of why I acquired the fur balls. #3: Setting up their cage. I love the challenge of keeping the fur-babies from becoming board. It exercises my mind & theirs. In additional to all of that... they're adorable!!!!!
